THE ROUND CARDBAG

Hello everyone,

This time I created a round card on a bag. For the challenge of the Hobby Buddies where I  became recently a member,  asked for a round card. The MDUC wanted this time a decorated bag. So I came upon the idea to make my round cardbag. Something different, isn't it. I have this time chosen for vintage with lots of lace, pearls and bling, bling and of course old-fashioned red roses paper.

I post my card to:

Dutch Magnolia Lovers: Week 35 No Card
Midweeks MagnoliaWeek 17 Lovely Lace

From my blogfriend KARIN I got the beautiful lace that is around the card and the butterfly die from Tim Holtz. On the blog of JOLANDA I saw a tutorial to make flowers with handmade paper. The result is the beautiful large white flower.

Used materials:

Stamps: Rose sent Tilda, and text stamps from Magnolia
Dies: doohikeys magnolia, Butterflies Tim Holtz and Joy
Paper: paper pad from Action Store and a brown paper bag
Flowers: handmade, and from the webshop Margo
Lace and pearls onw stock and Karin
Colored with Copics

Of course I would like to hear,  you  like my cardbag. For my newest followers on my blog welcome and nice that you  came along. Though it's still a bit early. For anyone already a very  nice weekend and in our region starts the summer vacation Friday. So for everyone who gets holiday a lot of holiday fun and let us hope that the weather is going to be a little better. Until next time.
With love from Holland,

Dorothy

WINTERWONDERLAND

Hello everyone,

This time from a wet and cold Holland an older card, which I had lying around, but never had use for a challenge. In Australia it is winter and so they have devised for their new challenge a card over the winter.

Although the summer should be with us, I have actually not really that feeling. It's still cold and wet and that give you not really a summer feeling. Only if I look in the garden and  I see all the plants and flowers,  I'm realizing it must be summer.

This card I made last year when I didn't competed in the challenges. I had seen on the blog of Camilla, that she had created a beautiful shakecard.  I made them also many years ago, when I was teaching on a cultural centre. I thought it was a nice idea and I have created a number of them about  the seasons.  This is the winter card and this one I can now use for the challenge of this week at the MDUC.

Used materials:

Stamps: Magnolia
Paper: from own stock and unknown
Flowers: handmade and from own stock
Colored: copics

I wish you all a nice weekend and untill next time, with love from Holland,

Dorothy
